Poem - The Invincible

I am a woman with enormous power,
an epitome of beauty, joy and love.
I can create and I can destroy,
a beautiful, blissful and peaceful world I desire.
Sometimes I am tender and sometimes I am tough,
nobody doubts my mammoth courage.
I celebrate my independence and individuality,
I come up with surprising strength and dignity.
I bring love where hatred prevails
I bring unity where discord is.
To make truth win, evil I destroy,
I symbolize eternity, joy and victory.
I am the eternal Maiden, Durga,
I send you blessings of limitless love and courage.

This poem is written by my daughter-in-law. She gave it to me for publishing in an in-house journal of our company, but I thought it would be great if i share it with the Hubpages readers! Hope you will enjoy it!
